Hot2Cold is a state licensed HVAC and electrical company serving the north Louisiana area with heating, air conditioning and electrical services for commercial and residential. We are licensed, and strive to provide our expertise and resources in a timely manner to remain respectful of the comfort of our customers. We understand that no one worries about their heating and cooling needs until something goes wrong. So, we have made a commitment to our customers to maintain their heating and cooling systems so they don’t have to worry, and if something does go wrong they are GOOD 2 GO with HOT2COLD.

Larry Sims, Owner/President

Larry believes in doing the best job with competitive pricing and highest customer service. He does residential and commercial air and refrigeration. He has 28 years of experience as a HVAC Specialist. Larry graduated high school in 1986 and graduated from the Universal Technical Institute for HVAC in 1987. He has worked in the HVAC industry since 1989 servicing, repairing and replacing a wide range of equipment such as residential furnaces, heat pumps (all makes and sizes), commercial coolers, freezers, ice machines, air conditioning industrial, water source, cooling towers, chillers, server rooms, mcc controls and centrifugal pumps.

Larry is certified with State Mechanical License from the State of Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and Universal Certified to handle all Refrigerants. Larry has been serving Ruston and neighboring towns since 1991. He believes in the job he is doing and always gives the best service possible.

Carl Burton, Project Manager/Estimator

Carl has spent years in education and training to be able to offer his expertise to a company like Hot2Cold. His skills include layout and fabrication of steel and sheet metal, design of HVAC systems, and AutoCAD drafting and design. Carl graduated from NEEB Air Balance School in Denver, CO; attended NLU majoring in Business Administration, and taught a Sheet Metal class after graduating at the top of his class from the Sheet Metal Apprentice Program. His journey then took him from apprentice to foreman before launching into the entrepreneurial world of owning two successful construction businesses.

Carl has shared 42 years with wife, Ruby; and his propensity for commitment is evident not only in his marriage, but also through his 10 years of coaching baseball and the leadership to design and build the new baseball complex in town.
